If teams have the same number of points at the end of the tournament, then the team with the most number of wins would be declared the winner. If multiple teams have the same number of wins then the best +/- record (total points FOR / less AGAINST) would be declared the winner.
Finally if teams have the same +/- record then the team with the most points FOR will be declared the winner. The NBL Cup will be presented to the winning team at the conclusion of the Tournament.

Following the relaxation of mask wearing in the community from Friday 26 February, Melbourne & Olympic Parks have made some changes to venue conditions.

Other venue conditions including practicing physical distancing, limiting your movement throughout the venue and only consuming food & beverage in your seat will continue to apply to all games.
John Cain Arena is located on Olympic Bvld, Melbourne VIC 3001 The closest tram stop is via tram 70 or 75 - stop “MCG-Melbourne Arena/Melbourne Park” Richmond Station is a 12-minute walk. If you are taking public transport please ensure you are keeping a safe distance, wearing a face mask and allow plenty of time for possible delays.

If you wish to purchase tickets on game day you must do so online and present your e-ticket at the entrance on the day. There are no physical tickets for the NBL Cup.

We are unable to refund, cancel or exchange tickets for change of mind purchases. If you are no longer able to attend because you are feeling unwell or required to isolate due to COVID-19 exposure a full refund can be requested via Ticketek.
All NBL Cup tickets give the ticket holder access to two NBL games.
The doors to John Cain Arena will open one hour before tip-off of the first game of the day.
We recommend all ticket holders arrive early to allow extra time for additional COVIDSafe protocols at the entrance to the Arena
Yes. Food and beverage outlets will be open. Please not these outlets are cashless. Food and beverage must be consumed in your allocated seat inside the arena.
If food is homemade and in small amounts, this is accepted.
You can bring a water bottle into the venue providing it is 600ml or under.
No BYO alcohol is permitted as the arena is a licensed venue.
Yes – there will be a merchandise store at all NBL Cup games
All transactions at John Cain Arena are now cashless. No ATMs are available on site.
The NBL expect all ticket holders to act in accordance with our family-friendly culture and abide by a Code of conduct at all times.
Anti-social behaviour, inclusive of excessive consumption of alcohol, racial taunts, violent behaviour, bad language or continued inappropriate behaviours/gestures will not be tolerated at any time during NBL Cup games.
The NBL reserve the right to eject a ticket holder from the game.

Yes – all games commencing prior to 7:30pm AEDT will be broadcast live on SBS Viceland, SBS on Demand, NBL TV & Twitch.
All games with a tip-off time after 7:30pm will be broadcast live on ESPN.
